I was enrolled on GE Aviation’s Software Edison Engineering Development Program (EEDP). EEDP is one of General Electric’s corporate entry level intensive leadership programs designed to accelerate participants’ professional development through technical training and a variety of business-critical assignments.

I fixed some bugs and implemented functionality on websites such as EVM, IOI and PEC Training, which are responsible for monitoring the progress of projects within budget and time, all of them made in PHP. I also developed several tools in Ruby which communicated with other programs such as SIESTA, ANSYS or Microsoft suite, to perform fatigue analysis on a piece, solve formulas for stress and strain, generate excel reports, among other things.

I implemented websites in PHP with the framework CodeIgniter, all sites include backend and frontend, and have a lot of effects with CSS, JavaScript and jQuery.

I installed at each station of the production line a virtual machine and a scanner; so the worker scans the full container and the product goes straight to the warehouse, instead of passing throw a checkpoint.
