I am heading School of Public Health at JSS AHER, Mysuru with 7 faculties and 72 students. I am undertaking various research projects from ICMR, WHO, Unicef and Govt of India.We are into the mission of creating Blue Zone Longevity Cohort in Mysuru using JSS Panchamantra for Longevity.

To support evidence based planning and budgeting, implementation and monitoring of Reproductive, Maternal, New-born, Child Health and Adolescent Health (RMNCH+A) interventions at state level and in high priority districts of Karnataka

Working as Surveillance Medical officer at WHO Country office for India in its project (National Polio Surveillance Project) since 2010. 3 years in Polio endemic state West Uttarpradesh, 2 yrs in Karnataka. My core areas are Polio and Measles Surveillance, Diphtheria Surveillance, Intensification of Routine Immunization, Advocacy and Management skills.Special mission to Nigeria (Katsina State) under surge capacity for Polio (3months). Many of our interventions and suggestions have been inculcated in the national program of Nigeria.

This was a public private partnership between Govt of Karnataka and JNMC. I was involved in preventive, promotive, and administrative efforts of a PHC covering a population of 26000. Responsibilities also included implementing national programmes and co-ordinating the research and curative interventions of the local medical college.
