Key achievements included: • Establishing systems and structures to help restructured hospitals to prioritize specialties to recruit in line with national healthcare requirements and global healthcare trends;• Developing a database of prospective regional and global medical specialists for targeted recruitment efforts;• Creating framework to discuss and resolve systemic issues with the accreditation and integration of foreign trained medical staff;• Building additional pipelines to source and recruit allied health professionals for public healthcare institutions in Singapore; and• Project managing the staffing of clinical manpower resources for Khoo Teck Puat Hospital

Returned after post-graduate studies to oversee corporate planning and national employment facilitation portfolios. Notable achievements include: • Revamping national GEMS service excellence framework, including establishing the business case for the Institute of Service Excellence @SMU to anchor applied research, comparative benchmarking and service innovation capability development in Singapore, including the development of the inaugural Singapore Customer Service Index; • Pioneering new sectoral workforce demand methodology to forecast industry manpower needs over a 1-3 year time-frame • Restructuring the national employment facilitation network and processes while managing large-scale change management effort to integrate processes and staff previously deployed under People’s Association at the Community Development Councils within 3 months

Head-hunted to return to Singapore's public service to manage the organizational change effort in establishing the Labour Market Development Division in the Minister of Manpower and set up a new statutory board - Workforce Development Agency.• Led industry transformation efforts in the hospitality, environment services and healthcare sectors such that there was a 30-40% increase in the local workforce participation rate in these sectors due to revamped industry workforce development practices;• Headed the secretariat of two national taskforces focusing on revamping wage models in the electronics and chemicals industries; • Co-chaired ministry committee on enhancing the employability of mature workers in the Singapore labour force, where inputs were subsequently used for other Ministerial Committees on Low Wage Workers and Employability of Mature Workers; and• Chaired the Strategic Planning, HR, IT migration and Corporate Services planning subcommittees involved in establishing the Workforce Development Agency within an unprecedented 9-month timeline.

Joined a boutique London-based technology & strategy consulting outfit to establish their Singapore office. Led project teams that successfully implemented regional and local projects in Asia (India, Hong Kong and Singapore). Key client projects included: • Established a market entry strategy and business operations in India for a UK-based telecommunications equipment manufacturer, building a pipeline of customer deals amounting to £20 million as well as a value-added reseller and distribution network within 10 months; • Created an offshore knowledge management service operation in Mumbai, India servicing Netdecisions’ global clients in acquiring weekly market intelligence and customer reports to aid in their business development, marketing and strategy planning activities;• Built and implemented a business portal for a Singapore government-linked conglomerate and its strategic business units to increase cross-selling opportunities with its SME clients; and • Revamped online marketing and sales strategies for a global FMCG company and a leading global airline company
