Worked in the areas of managed NLD network (Soft-switch based), Value Added Services (including SDP), Video Streaming over mobile network and CDN (Content Delivery Network – broadband/ IP & DTH) involving IPTV, VoD, On-line Network Gaming and other related components such as Middleware, CAS/ DRM.Worked on projects around BPL, ERP & AMM.

Worked towards building-up the country wide greenfield wire-line Local/ NLD/ ILD network, standalone Signaling network, implementation of lawful monitoring & interception solution for ILD and in formulating NGN migration strategy. This involved all activities from concept to commissioning - putting together GR/s, RFP/s, SoW/s, vendor interaction (interacted and managed relations with 20+ vendors), laying down evaluation criteria/ parameters, technology evaluation & selection, solution evaluation and short listing, commercial negotiations (including price bench marking), business case analysis, architecture designing and optimization, planning/ engineering, BoM finalization and ordering.

During the total tenure of 9-10 years, in different capacities, successfully managed all aspects of telecom business ranging from O&M of all types of Switching equipment (local/ tandem/ toll switches from Lucent-5ESS, Siemens-EWSD, Alcatel-OCB/ E-10B), related infrastructure & utilities (power plants, battery sets, DG sets, buildings, outdoor cable plant), planning, engineering and upgrade of telecom network, installation & commissioning of new equipment and expansion of existing ones, customer care, staff welfare, union matters, administration, public relations etc. Managed a team of 150+ employees during separate assignments of O&M & project executions; brought visible improvements in the work culture and commitments of the staff members by being open and transparent to them, sharing mission and objectives, having regular meetings/ communications, recognition of their efforts and contributions and so on…

Successfully manged installation, testing and commissioning of LPTs, HPTs and Studios including dish antenna in whole of northern region. Traveled extensively in the entire northern region.
