I enjoyed carrying our research and identifying solution to problems since my young days. I always believed that “Every problem has a solution; it is only matter of efforts”. This is exhibited throughout my career span of about 20 years in Research & Development of Pharmaceutical products, Consumer Products and Excipients. My knowledge domain includes novel drug delivery systems, generic product development pharmaceutical excipients, GI physiology, pharmacokinetics, bio-relevant dissolution methods development, stability testing, and QbD principles of development. My proficiency in development of novel drug delivery systems include gastroretentive systems, Solubilization, bioavailability enhancement, Controlled/ modified release dosage forms, liquid sustained release and taste masking technologies. I am well versed with the development of diverse dosage form such as IR tablets and capsules, Extended release formulations, syrups, suspensions and innovative consumer formats such as soft gelatine capsules, hot tea formulations, pixie stick dosage form, lozenges, orally disintegrating tablets, etc. On the excipient front my proficiency include conceptualization of new excipients, process optimization, characterization and application studies. Extremely comfortable with different excipient chemistries, numerous grades based on physiochemical properties as well as their utilization in a pharmaceutical drug product. During my professional career, I have developed expertise in conceptualizing novel ideas and developing products based on concepts through monitoring and guiding teams in all stages of product development.Last but not the least, I have good communication skills and business acumen. I have also delivered talks and presentations in various forums across the globe. I do possess strong interpersonal, analytical, mentoring, and leadership skills.
