I am a very highly trained and experienced GDC registered Specialist in Prosthodontics and dental implant surgeon working in private specialist practice in the Harley Street Medical District in Central London. After graduating from Newcastle Dental School as a prize-winning student in 1992, I went on to gain the coveted MGDS Diploma from the Royal College of Surgeons of England (regarded as the gold standard for General Dental Practice) and an MSc in Conservative Dentistry (with Distinction) under the tutelage of the renowned Dr Derrick Setchell, at the Eastman Dental Institute in London. I am a Fellow of the FGDP(UK) at the Royal College of Surgeons of England and was involved in the teaching of several training programmes, including the training of the Faculty Mentors in the Faculty's 'Mentoring for Dentistry’ programme. I was also one of the original Course Tutors and a Lecturer on the highly regarded FGDP(UK) Implant Diploma programme. I am currently Chair of the Advisory Board in Primary Dental Care at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and have been appointed as Lead Examiner for the MAGDS RCSEd. diploma, as well as an Examiner for the DipImpDent RCSEd. and the MFDS RCSEd.Since my hospital training posts as a resident in maxillo-facial surgery from 1993, I was with the James Hull Associates corporate dental group for a period of 18 years as one of their most highly regarded and senior dental surgeons.
