Role: Module lead, maintenance of previous defects, design of new featuresThe EZ-EMS is a proprietary EMS developed for the Simpler Networks EZ-MDF which uses TL1 southbound interface and many standard and customized northbound interfaces including TL1, FOMS, GOTRA (custom for France Telecom).The EZ-MDF is a Network Element deployable in the Central Office which automates the (Flow through) Provisioning at the Manual Distribution Frame level. (MDF) which is part of the product line envisioned to provide multi service dial tone using the existing copper local loop revolutionizing the last mile. Technical Details of Project: The development is in Java on the Solaris platforms. The source code configuration tool used is Rational Clear Case. My responsibilities : Module Lead Analysis and writing the design documents. Design and development of EZ_EMS system. I was responsible for handling of core of EMS .This involves the addition for different customer specific features and maintenance of old version of EMS. I was responsible to guide other about the existing features of system, internal structure and core logic in system. And Customer and Vendor communication representative for feature development and Defects fixing.

The enterprise applications built on contemporary technology that interface with the customer can exchange data from different kinds of legacy systems holding customer in different formats and platforms.There are different clients that access the CIS for the required transaction. The clients can access the CIS using different channels.CIS system receives the XML file from the client and then decides the type of transaction that has to be executed and the legacy system/proxy system that it will interact. It accordingly sends the request to the backend system and collects the response, reformats the response if required and sends the result back to the client. It may cache the results of frequently accessed queries to provide faster response to the client.
