I am a Senior Manager at Janaagraha, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life in India's cities. With over 10 years of experience in public policy, program management, and organization development, I lead reformative efforts to fortify the capacities of state and city governments to deliver better urban services. My current focus is on Odisha, where I guide a team of eight change-makers in implementing a competency-based human resource management system and process re-engineering within government ecosystems. This initiative covers more than 8,000 personnel across 114 urban local bodies. I also advocate for shared municipal service models across India, developing playbooks and scaling successful pilots. Additionally, I assist the leadership at Janaagraha in formulating our organizational view and strategy on organization development approaches for urban governance. My passion lies in creating resilient cities and navigating the intricate landscape of urban development. I hold a Master of Public Policy from the University of Minnesota, where I received the Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Award and the Lloyd B. Short Award for my capstone project on building energy resilience in Puerto Rico. I also have postgraduate diplomas in management, banking and finance, and environment law and policy. I bring a wealth of expertise in innovative finance, infrastructure, housing, and food systems.
