With almost three decades of experience in Intellectual Property (IP) management and strategy, I am Anindya Sircar, a dedicated and innovative IP professional. My career has been driven by a passion for leveraging intellectual assets to drive business growth and innovation. Currently, I am the IPR Chair Professor - NALSAR University of Law, Director - N C Banerjee Center for IPR Studies and also offer my services as an Advisor and Consultant to multiple organizations. I specialize in IP portfolio management, IP strategy, IP litigation, IP licensing and IP teaching/training. Throughout my career, I have successfully managed extensive IP portfolios in multiple industry domains, devised and implemented robust IP strategies, and navigated complex IP litigations. My approach combines strategic foresight with a deep understanding of the technical and legal nuances of intellectual property.I have had the privilege of working with leading organizations such Infosys Limited as AVP and Head of IP and was responsible for IP activities of Infosys Limited and its subsidiaries. I also had a long stint heading the IP Department Biocon Group – a premiere biotechnology company in Bangalore, India and was instrumental in setting up the IP Department for the Biocon Group. My roles involved close collaboration with R&D teams, legal departments, and business units to ensure a cohesive and proactive approach to IP leading to an efficient IP ecosystem.I am a registered Patent Agent and a Certified Patent Valuation Analyst) with a unique distinction of two PhDs – one is Science and the other in Law. As a recognized thought leader in the IP community, I frequently speak at conferences and contribute to industry publications on topics related to IP strategy, patent management, and innovation. My insights are driven by practical experience and a forward-thinking perspective on the evolving IP landscape.My mission is to demystify intellectual property and make it accessible to innovators and businesses of all sizes.
