I'm a final-year PhD student in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Tennessee, with double minors in CS & Statistics. In my research, I use Game Theory, Controls and Decision Science to design real-time algorithms for optimizing networked dynamical systems. Previously, I was a summer R&D intern at Dow, where I worked in the Robotics team on an ML platform to accelerate a high-throughput experimentation workflow. I was also part of PhD Founder summer cohort at Dorm Room Fund, a nights-and-weekends program designed to help PhDs spin off deep tech research.I led efforts in securing funding from the Dept. of Homeland Security, and currently serve on their student leadership council. Passionate about technology commercialization, I spun off our research and co-founded ASTERS: an AI x Security startup backed by UChicago and SENTRY (a DHS COE). With my diverse background, proven track record, and core competencies, I'm confident I'm uniquely positioned to spearhead innovative solutions to some of the most pressing problems. Outside of work, I love to do pro-bono career mentorship. I also play the violin and love the great outdoors. Please feel free to reach out.

•My PhD research addresses three open research problems:1. How do we design Graph Optimization Algorithms, while simultaneously optimizing risk and guaranteeing performance?2. What is the effect of the Graph Structure on the information flow in complex networks, and how do we control this using influencers?3. Can we run Graph Optimization in real-time using a distributed edge computing architecture by leveraging Graph Neural Networks?• Conducting research on Sequential Decision Problems under uncertainty in Networked Dynamical Systems. Leveraging Mathematical models and Computational tools for the Optimization/Control of Influence and Information Cascades in Cooperative Games, Social Networks, and Spatial Networks.• Conducted human experiments to study Cooperative Decision making under imperfect information with the Distributed Graph Coloring Game. Analyzed the cost of decentralization and the effect of influencers on the efficiency of cooperation. • Work led to winning a competitive grant from SENTRY - a DHS Centre of Excellence to productize our IP.
