Served as a camp counsellor for students attending McGill summer academy, many of whom were International Students or scholarship students. Focused on looking over their safety, and taking them on guided educational explorations across Montreal as part of the camp. Helped ensure they were settled into Montreal.

Oversaw initiatives promoting equity and inclusivity within McGill’s oldest cultural club. Worked with ISA leadership to organize events celebrating Indian culture and addressing representation at McGill. Collaborated with other cultural groups on campus.

Led efforts to win $1,200 in funding from the McGill Arts Department Development Fund for student group activities. Planned all departmental events, including mixers, end-of-year galas, and interdisciplinary panels with other programs on linguistic diversity and human rights in South Asia. Booked venues and organized food/drinks for 100+ attendees at SASSA events.

Assisted in researching the affordable housing sector in India, analyzing market dynamics between private and public sectors, the impact of government schemes like PMAY (Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana), and competition among affordable housing firms. Collaborated with Neoleaf’s team to investigate how government policies and market competition influence the affordable housing landscape.

As a delegate for the McGill Youth Advisory Delegation (MYAD) at McGill for the Commission on Population and Development (CPD), I spent 2022-2023 working with team members crafting policies related to Climate Change, Global Inequality, and Healthcare to present at the UN.
