As an applied data scientist at Tesco, I work on a project that forecasts sales for Czech Republic at department level on a weekly basis. I create machine learning models using the boosting algorithms like Random forest and XG boost and include them in the pipeline created for the data collection and data processing. With the help of these models, we enable Tesco to optimize its inventory management and marketing strategies.I have a strong background in data science and engineering, with a master's degree in computer and information systems security/information assurance from University of Southern Queensland, and a postgraduate diploma in data science and engineering from Great Learning. I also have multiple certifications in SQL, supervised machine learning, regression, logistic regression, and naive Bayes. I am passionate about delivering valuable data through analytical functions and data retrieval methods, and helping companies to advance by developing strategic plans based on predictive modeling and findings.
