3D Printing Research Engineer / Product Manager
Research Assistant In Fea And Mechanical Simulation
As a member of the Engineering Research and Simulation Lab (ERSL) at the University of Wisconsin, I helped develop the thermomechanical simulation tools for 3D printing processes, resulting in published research as part of my Master’s thesis. This demonstrated significant value and time savings our simulation tools can offer in real-world applications. The software SciArt, co-created with Prof.Krishnan Suresh, was commercialized through the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation (WARF). Preliminary results were published at the ASME conference in Boston, August, 2015.Areas of research was the cloud based software development for CAD, the simulation of Thermo-Mechanical behaviour, Additive Manufacturing using C++, Efficient FEA and other High Performance Computing tools.
Teaching Assistant In Design
Responsibilities included conducting lab sessions for to over 200 undergraduate students in CAD / Geometric Modeling and GD&T for Engineering Applications using solid modeling and analysis tools, namely Solidworks, ANSYS, NX 9.0. This position was coupled with the testing and the teaching of cadjs.org, a cloud based CAD software created in our LAB. The position included the review the theoretical concepts of the course and implementation in the lab, influencing the course structure to enhance critical thinking and analytical skills, and implementing interactive and engaging challenges to test student learning.

Responsibilities included working along with my adviser in developing the software for Topology Optimization and Automated CAD Recovery. It involved the creation and development of 'SolidLab', an interface between Matlab and SolidWorks. The results of the internship was presented in a poster at the Wisconsin Forum of Advanced Computing in Engineering 2013. This forum included interactions with many professionals from Caterpillar, Boeing, US Navy, etc.
Nvh Engineer - Intern
I was the lead in the study to reduce of Electric Starter Noise of the high priority TVS Pheonix touring motorcycle. The project involved the complete dismantling and re-assembly of the 125CC bike engine, and the analysis and bench-marking of the individual components of the starter system. I worked along with R&D and NVH team of the TVS Motor Company and achieved 50% reduction of noise. The project was well received and complemented by a job offer.
