Co-Principal Investigator of GIZ funded NAMA (Nationally Appropriate Mitigation Action for Climate Change) for forestry sector in India.First author in the development of the India’s forestry NAMA proposal which was awarded 74,000 euro funding from GIZ-gmbh. Conducted Socio-economic baseline study, Training & Capacity Building of Assam forest department on Forest Carbon stock assessment based on the IPCC guidelines, Extensively used the GIS enabled tools (QGIS, Google Maps, ARCGIS, Data interoperability and conversion tools) in delineation & selection of the target areas for rolling out the project interventions and subsequent decision making under NAMA Project. Team member and data analyst. Fixing Minimum Support Price for selected minor forest produce. The project involves developing the Minimum Support Price for 12 selected Minor Forest Produce (MFPs) mainly collected from 8 PESA states in India.Proposal Development: Carried out writing of proposals for various funding agencies like DFID, UNDP, GIZ, Govt of India etc. on multidisciplinary themes like climate resilience of forests & its dependent communities, Human wildlife conflict mitigation, development of training needs assessment, access to clean energy, Preparation of participatory integrated landscape level management strategy and plans for alpine & sub-alpine region. The Proposals written by me received funding equivalent to 200,000 CAD $ from different funding agencies & donors. Drafted “Compendium of Case Studies for highlighting TERI’s experience on rehabilitation & reclamation of abandoned mines & mine dumps”.

Worked on a world bank funded, country wide large scale project known as National Rural Livelihoods Mission (www.aajeevika.in) in promotion & development of climate smart livelihoods & climate proof infrastructure for the indigenous communities in rural areas of India. Some of the key interventions undertaken were development of Small Ruminants Based Livelihoods, System of Rice Intensification, Community Managed Sustainable Agriculture and Agro-Horticulture.• I prepared the GIS based maps for spatial appraisal of various livelihoods interventions, Value chains, GIS based intelligence for decision making & project implementation• Acted as the point person for GIS & Remote sensing related activities in the organization. Apart from this I also acted as a nodal person for preparation of Web based livelihoods MIS.• Drafted the small livestock based livelihoods component under the Special Livelihoods Proposal worth 85,00,000 CAD equivalent, selected for funding by World Bank/Government of India (2016)• Coordinated with a team of nearly 50 livelihoods professionals implementing Climate Smart large scale livelihoods interventions like development of a Goatry value chain, system of Rice Intensification techniques, promotion of Agro-Horticulture, zero budget natural farming, sustainable fisheries.• Promotion of climate proof infrastructure under the rural employment guarantee scheme.• Preparation of annual action plans, quarterly progress reports for submission to Government of India/World Bank, contracts / MoUs with potential partner organizations/consultants, etc.• Documentation of case studies, intervention videos & its dissemination to all the stake holders through social platforms.• Conducting & Coordinating the baseline surveys, market research, Value Chain studies

Carried out a study on development & conservation induced displacement in Madhya Pradesh with (Kuno-Palpur wildlife sanctuary and Kanha National Park). In order to understand the impacts of development induced displacement, I undertook primary field surveys, conducted Focus group discussions and personal interviews in the remote tribal villages of Madhya Pradesh, India.

One of the major job responsibility was Geo-tagging of the raster images for geological features (harvested from scientific journals) to be incorporated into the Elsevier's Geo-Facets, an online geological feature visualizing platform (like Google Earth) on ESRI ArcGIS platform, ERDAS Imagine 9.1, Google Earth for KML & KMZ files.Carried out periodic reporting of the overall team activity and project progress to the senior manager.

• Planning and execution of Geophysical surveys for ‘Survey of India-Delhi State Spatial Data Infrastructure Project’, Delhi, India.• As a field coordinator I managed a team of around 10 survey professionals entrusted with collection of geological, radiometric and geophysical data using vehicle mounted Terravision (Flatbed, multi scanner ground penetrating radar-GSSI). Apart from being a field coordinator I also acted as a shift incharge and prepare the roster for sub-survey teams.• Apart from the geophysical survey, I also contributed to digitization of the underground utilities data and integration of the secondary data with the primary one.• Integration the subsurface data in the Geographic Information Systems environment using ARCGIS to create models of the subsurface features for Delhi.

Worked as a GIS & Remote Sensing trainee on Annual agricultural crop yield forecast using the LISS III ETM+ data. Carried out the rectification of the satellite images using ERDAS Imagine 9.1, Delienation of the AOI, supervised and unsupervised classification of the satellite data, digitization of the meterological data, etc .
