NEW PRODUCT LAUNCH- Selected to lead a prestigious multi-million dollar, high profile project to design and launch an innovative industry-leading Box Step product for Ford pickup trucks.- Acted as Multimatic’s prime point-of-contact with the Ford Engineering Team, leading team of 10 member and challenged to design the 20+ component step within a strict timeline.- Prepared the project management plan, scope, cost and procurement policies with an emphasis on risk mitigation.- Compiled business plans and presented to senior Ford and Multimatic management, gaining approval for a $4.5 million tooling budget and over $25 million of annual sales revenue. - Active lead and participant during all design phases with an emphasis on cost control through value engineering and value analysis.- Reviewed customer feedback in consultation with Ford Engineering and led a step design change/improvement project, realizing a further $250k in annual savings.
