Project: Impact of adherence on the efficacy of Deferasirox in thalassemia pediatric patients• Conducted a comprehensive literature review to aim in building a Pharmacokinetic – Pharmacodynamic model for the project.• Collaborated with a multidisciplinary team to analyze and interpret computational data, contributing to the project's overall findings and potential implications for treatment strategies.• Contribute to writing a research literature paper on successful drug repurposing.• Explored different adherence scenarios that may reflect reality on RStudio and analysed the effect on the treatment response in children ( 2 – 17 years).• Co-supervised students, teaching coding skills and assisting in project outcomes.

Project: Population pharmacokinetics of cenobamate and dose rationale for its use in paediatric patients affected by focal onset and primary generalized tonic-clonic seizures.• Completed an innovative in silico eight-month project optimizing a dosing algorithm of cenobamate for pediatric generalized focal onset epilepsy patients. • Utilised a nonlinear mixed effect (NONMEM) and simulation principles and software to develop virtual populations and to calculate drug exposure and maximum concentration of the drug at different age groups.• Used Rstudio software to make a goodness of fit plot to validate the model and made other graphs for visualization and extraction of data. • Enhanced adaptability through multiple group presentations and reports, fostering effective communication by articulating my perspective while appreciating diverse viewpoints within the team.

• These three- month project gave me a great insight into how such results could be useful in terms of drug and vaccine production and delivery, e.g., Sars-Cov-2 vaccine and how this is taken up by the child.• Extracted valuable information for an extensive literature review which contributed to the paper. • Contributed to writing a 2,000-word introduction on a PhD thesis chapter.• Investigated different parameters on COMSOL by forming a 3D model. Results were analyzed and added to the paper. • Contributed my thoughts and presented my results on weekly Friday meeting with the team.
