Hello, my name is Anisa Watson and I am a senior at Bowie State University. My major is Visual Communication and Digital Media Arts, with a concentration in Advertising Design. I first attended Prince George’s Community College where I earned my Associates Degree in 2021. I am set to graduate from BSU in Spring 2025. I have taken relevant coursework such as visual communication, typography, type history, intro to computer graphics, and UX design. While taking these courses amongst others, I have maintained being on the Dean’s List for at least 3 semesters in a row.As far as some notable volunteer experiences, I had the privilege to work behind the scenes at the New York Harlem Fashion Row 2024, as well as at the Congressional Black Caucus Influencers Brunch 2024. Both of these experiences have increased my professional development, and opened my eyes to so many possibilities. My goal, as a student, is to network and gain more experience in the field of marketing, advertising, and graphic design. I look forward to connecting and working to create meaningful and targeted visual content!
