Volunteer at Supportive Living Inc. (SLI), a nonprofit charity specializing in assisting survivors of brain injury. The SLI Douglas House in Lexington, MA is a transitional living facility for brain injury survivors, with permanent residents living in assisted care, day programs for other Massachusetts brain injury survivors, and a Wellness Center where research is conducted. Volunteer duties are centered around interactions with the permanent residents. Activities include leading a weekly cooking or art group with residents, taking residents around the historic Lexington Center, and assisting residents with their individual interests like writing, technology, and exercise.

Received extensive training in various issues faced by university students to provide students an anonymous one-on-one campus resource to confide in; office hours held weekly.

Leading structured courses to improve the SAT performance of high school students. Classroom instruction is supplemented by assigning additional exercises for students, carefully monitoring their progress through proctored practice examinations, and maintaining close contact with both students and parents alike.

Worked primarily with an epilepsy services team at St. James's Hospital located in Dublin, Ireland. Activities included shadowing various members of the Neurology department during their clinical rotations, performing data entry for the department, and performing clinical research (paper published in the Irish Journal of Medical Sciences) on increased nonattendance of hospital appointments among patients of vulnerable epileptic populations.

Swim instructor for children at the Boston Sports Club in Waltham, Massachusetts. Children range from infants to young adults. Skills taught include proper breathing, various strokes (freestyle, breaststroke, backstroke, dolphin kick, etc.), and endurance boosting. Taught private and group lessons.
