Selected as one of six members to join Berkeley-PBL’s Technology Committee, which focuses on the intersection of technology and business. Through the curriculum, I learned the basics of programming through Python, data analytics, and web development.As a whole, Berkeley-PBL offers its consulting services to a wide range of clients from budding start-ups to Fortune 500 firms through CT Consulting and its client teams.

Worked alongside four other peers to invent an automated device that administers and monitors prescription medicine-taking in senior homes. Following an initial application process, my team was chosen as one of 13 nationwide to receive a $9,300 grant from the Lemelson-MIT program. As technical lead, I worked on CAD iterations of our device and led the fabrication process, bringing our invention from concept to product.

As a dual enrollment student at the University of South Florida (USF), I worked with Electrical Engineering professors and students to establish USF’s ISA chapter in my junior year. The IREX Global Solutions Sustainability Challenge is a virtual exchange initiative that supports workforce development in the US, Iraq, and Jordan. As the Technology Specialist and Prototype Developer on a binational team, I helped formulate a business model to create a lifestyle brand of clothing that utilizes organic materials. Our model complies with the triple bottom line by employing refugees, reducing landfill waste, and delivering profits. After pitching our concept and business model at IREX's Virtual Global Business Fair, my team placed 3rd internationally, receiving a $1,000 grant to kickstart our project.

Selected to join Round 5 of MediaWise's Teen Fact-Checking Network for their Winter term. As a Teen Fact Checker, I worked to fact-check content online. I scripted, recorded, and edited posts for a broad audience on MediaWise's Instagram story and virtually collaborated with fellow Teen Fact-Checkers on Slack.
