Currently working as a Senior Software Engineer with the Self-Serve team. My objective is to invent, design and deliver solutions to onboard customers in the least amount of time with search relevance unparalleled in the market. This involves going through each stage of the SDLC with add-ons for cross-team collaboration, mentoring other engineers and engaging with external stakeholders for feedback on product performance.

I joined Unbxd as a founding member of the Self-Serve team. My objective as a back-end engineer was to build the orchestration layer that handled cross-communication between the platform's microservices. Along with this, my role also involved writing microservices for additional features in the Self-Serve console.

• Responsible for delivering personalized feed in app based on user preferences and learning algorithms.• Awarded 'most innovative idea' prize for building system with image analysis features at company hackathon.

• Selected for Google Summer of Code with Apache Software Foundation out of 20000 applicants worldwide.• Analysed large(world bank & common crawl) datasets using Apache Spark(Scala), Flink & Apache Lucene.• Coped with big data problems by hosting datasets on EC2 instance and implementing platform optimizations.• Visualized results in Zeppelin Notebook using D3/nvd3, showing features to increase userbase for next release.• Contributed to Helium, saving users time to rewrite backend code by making it run directly in web notebook.
