Manage the organization’s built environment policy agenda to increase public investments in health-promoting resources and eliminate racial disparities in accessing safe and affordable transportation, parks, and housing. Support coalition partners by providing budget and policy analysis to advance equitable community investments.

Led MCM's policy work in coalitions such as the Vision Zero Alliance and ACT LA and advocate for equitable transportation infrastructure, investments in low-income communities and communities of color, and affordable housing and good jobs transit in Los Angeles. I managed MCM's successful educational programming and innovative mobility justice work, manage staff of program specialists and generate funding to sustain our operations.

I worked collaboratively with our Urban Agriculture Working Group, Food Resource and Recovery Working Group, and School Garden Working Group to identify and advance policy solutions through a coordinated research-based agenda on issues such as urban farming incentive zones and food waste recycling. In previous roles at the LA Food Policy Council, I organized bimonthly networking events to build partnerships and capacity among stakeholders and advocates focused on food, attended by around 150 people across public, private and non-profit sectors. Meeting topics explored the intersections of food and climate resiliency, social innovation, preventative healthcare, restorative justice, food waste, participatory democracy and collective impact. I developed the organization's online media presence and enhanced the organization’s internal and external communications infrastructure. In 2013, I worked closely with LAFPC Leadership Board Members to release the “2013 Los Angeles Food System Snapshot,” which provides important baseline information on the state of the Los Angeles regional foodshed.

I write Letter of Inquiries (LOIs) and concept proposals for large foundations and government agencies on behalf of the Council’s institutional procurement policy. I currently manage social media for the Los Angeles Food Policy Council.
