As an independent consultant with these companies, she coaches leaders and aligns high-performance teams. Her expertise in implementing strategic planning, executive coaching, board development, and evaluative assessment strategies delivers sustainable solutions that cascade through institutions, and across industries. Beyond her professional career, Anisha serves as a mission-driven leader demonstrating a strong commitment to making an impact in advocating for education and developing inclusive communities. She is a results-driven strategic leader, speaker and visionary thinker. Anisha cultivates trusting and productive relationships with diverse stakeholders. Anisha has launched both for-profits and non-profits and has served on philanthropic boards. She is the co-founder and national leader of WomenEd US, the co-founder and former inaugural Executive Director of MWA, a women's community service and leadership development organization, and a founding board member of Viator House of Hospitality mentoring refugees and newcomers.Anisha is also a local government elected official serving as School Board President. She was elected as Director-at-Large for the Illinois Association of School Boards North Cook Division, and the Vice Chair of the High School District 214 Foundation Board Of Trustees. Anisha was selected as one of 15 individuals nationally to the Public Leaders for Inclusion Council. As a speaker, Anisha has been invited as a conference keynote and panelist by groups like the U.S. State Department and The Lego Foundation. As a writer and leader she has been featured in The Atlantic, Daily Herald, Chicago Tribune and Medium. She operates with a global outlook having been raised in Malawi, Africa, speaks 5 languages, and has traveled across the oceans. Anisha is a two time alum from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and earned her doctorate from the University of Southern California, contributing her research on equity-focused leadership.
