• Led a team of 4 members who validated prices and parameters used to value the firm’s trading positions by performing Independent Price Verification • Ensured appropriate reporting of the value of firm’s financial instruments to its management, clients, shareholders and regulators • Provided an additional level of control around any potential unmitigated valuation risk posed by complex trade bookings at Credit Suisse and impact of amendments was circa USD 1.4 million • Ensured that suitable valuation models were used for Structured trades; Reviewed valuation adjustments for appropriateness; Bookings required per trade terms were correctly reflected in the firm's booking systems• Received Spartan Award for automating the review of Structured Trades using excel macros which saved 90 hrs of work per month• Developed a tool using R and excel for ensuring high level checks across 500 tasks performed by the team• Trained for using Bloomberg, Reuters and Totem to get data of various financial products
