"Better Falling Liquid Film Control with Deep Reinforcement Learning" supervised by Dr Radu Cimpeanu.Developed novel non-linear control methods for falling liquid films aided by the Soft Actor-Critic algorithm which outperformed classical methods. Wrote custom explicit and implicit solvers for the Navier-Stokes equations and reduced-order approximations in C that efficiently interacted with a deep neural net in TensorFlow. Analysed simulation data in Python and R. Gave a talk on my research to faculty and students.
