As Senior Consultant in Kudumbashree (State Poverty Eradication Mission, Government of Kerala), I am in charge of implementation and monitoring of Kudumbashree organization strengthening activities. Coordinated micro finance as well as social security schemes of Kudumbashree from 2008 to 2017 March at Kudumbashree head office.The State Poverty Eradication Mission - Kudumbashree, launched by the State Government of Kerala with the active support of Government of India and NABARD - aims at eradicating absolute poverty through concerted community action by facilitating organization of the poor combing self help with demand led convergence of available services and resources under the leadership of Local Self Governments.

Responsible for developing strategies and designing programmatic interventions impacting 44 lakh households belonging to 2.5 lakh women SHGs across 978 Gram Panchayaths and 65 Urban Local Bodies(ULB) in Kerala.

Team leader of State Micro Finance Team Kudumbashree, for the implementation and monitoring of micro finance as well as social security schemes.To prepare MF Action plan for the state and monitor through periodical reviews and field assessments. Responsible for, developing MIS, banking correspondence, preparing proposals for promoting SHG - Bank linkage, operational planning and monitoring.To prepare guidelines, handbooks, and training modules for the micro finance and social security programmes of Kudumbashree. Played a major role to develop and implement the ‘Kudumbashree Sthree Suraksha Bima Yojana’, ‘Credit Linked Insurance Scheme’, ‘Interest Subvention Scheme’ and ‘Bhavanashree Takeover’ Schemes of Kudumbashree.Carrying out various activities for strengthening the Community Based Organisation of women from poor families.To coordinate and conduct workshops and other events on various aspects including implementation and monitoring of Kudumbashree schemes, micro finance operations, enterprise development etc. for Kudumbashree Staff, LSG leaders, Resource Persons and NHG members.

Coordinated the UNDP’s project “TAHA” (Prevention of Trafficking and HIV/AIDS) to address the problems of trafficking of women and children and the risks to HIV infections. The project was implemented in Kerala through the leadership of Kudumbashree and Kerala State AIDS Control Society.Coordinated the special project under Tsunami rehabilitation called “Improving business development support and counseling skills for the pro-poor Medium and Small Enterprises in the Tsunami affected districts of Kerala”. The European Union funded project was jointly implemented by Traidcraft U.K, Formaper Italy and Kudumbashree Mission Kerala.  Developed and executed RKLS discount card scheme - to distribute home appliances in discounted rate to Kudumbashree flood affected RKLS beneficiaries. Coordinated micro finance as well as social security schemes of Kudumbashree from 2008 to 2017 March at Kudumbashree head office.
