• Manage Chart Links’ all software development activity from hiring and managing new local resources to starting and selecting new offshore software development teams.• Manage six software development teams at three locations (New Haven CT., HMC Vietnam, Lahore Pakistan)• Manage integration department and oversee development and support of HL7 and custom interfaces at different hospitals across the country. • Participate in long/short range technology planning for Chart Links.• Assumed architectural responsibility on all engagements. • Define and implement systems development methodology to support software development for new products, bug fixes, change requests and product enhancements.• Lead efforts for staged conversion of Chart Links products to web-based applications. • Incorporate emerging technologies to existing applications to facilitate user data entry and navigation For example: incorporation of OCR, OMR, OIR, Speech recognition, WCA, WAP, Touch screen, Bar-code etc.• Strategize and negotiate technology partnership for the company. • Lead efforts to make Chart Links application HIPAA privacy regulations compliant (2002).• Lead efforts to make Chart Links application HIPAA security regulations compliant. • Lead efforts related to application performance tuning and application stability, longevity (2003 Focus).• Some hands-on VB/SQL/Java software development.
