I am an experienced administrator who prides myself on providing a friendly, professional and seamless customer experience and work well with both internal and external clients. I always aim to be the "go to person" in any role I hold, so I can assist with anything needed, or find out the answer if I don't know it! Currently working for RIVAL Wealth - I have held a multitude of positions across the business since starting here in May 2019. I have thrived on learning about all aspects of risk insurance as well as KiwiSaver and have enjoyed building relationships, not only with my colleagues but also our clients, the insurers we deal with and the advisers in the business who I treat as my clients - here to help make their roles easier. I was recognized as Employee of the Year in January 2022 - I received this after being nominated by my colleagues - a real honour.Previous to working at RIVAL Wealth, I ran a small business called Virtual Angel, which provided virtual assistance to mainly small businesses in the form of admin support, social media strategy and blog writing.In my previous life I was a Recruitment Consultant who worked across the board... I ran a very successful Temp desk in Albany, hiring, placing and managing both Industrial and Office based candidates. I also have experience running the Permanent placement desk. I pride myself on my outstanding customer service skills, relationship building, attention to detail, my honesty and integrity and my drive to follow through with things I have promised.I spent approximately six years at Drake Albany, but previous to this I was working in Retail Management. Having worked in Retail since high school, I continued along this path after University as I loved the people contact and the fact every day was different. I worked my way up, starting as a Full Timer at Just Jeans and then moving to Assistant Manager, before becoming Store Manager of the first Bras n Things store in New Zealand.

Following on from that I assist them making any changes they require - this includes migrating their policy to a more beneficial one or making changes to their excess levels.Between January 2022 and March 2022 I also took over the Client Services role whilst we had staff changes. This saw me starting at the beginning of the RIVAL Wealth process from client prospect right through till the applications & underwriting stage. Here I was managing 6 advisers, their diaries, booking appointments and ensuring compliance documents were sent and completed at the correct point in the process. This involved a lot of following up and keeping advisers to a timeframe to ensure a great customer experience for our clients.In March 2022 I also took on the role of Group Scheme Administrator, in addition to the Health and Client Review Specialist position. We had a very loosely followed process in this space, so alongside the advisers we developed and implemented a process, which ticks off areas of compliance for both bringing on board new group schemes as well as servicing and managing existing ones through the renewal and continuation processes. I assist the advisers with all group scheme administration, ensuring follow ups are completed and continuations and renewals are completed on time. If unacceptable terms were offered by the insurer, I was required to challenge these for the best outcome possible for our clients. In this role I also managed the risk claims process - ensuring that clients in their time of need, didn't have to worry about the details of having a claim approved or paid out.Whilst in this role I also became the PA for the Managing Director - organizing RIVAL Wealth events, managing the office IT issues and booking flights etc for the key stakeholders in the business.
