The corner office, the income, the company turn arounds...didn't define me. It was a great chapter, don't get me wrong, I loved the work. It just didn't give me enough time working on my passion to serve and develop others. So, I leapt. I was without title, perks, company, industry, and paycheck.And the net appeared. In ways I couldn't have predicted. By trusting my own journey. And spending time with incredible, inspirational people. And starting my own leadership consulting company.I had the gift of a sabbatical. I spent this time developing a business, traveling, volunteering, and paying it forward through emotional intelligence coaching and leadership/organizational development to select 501(c)(3) organizations. I completed my professional coaching certification with the International Coaching Federation. I made myself available as a speaker on a variety of diversity, emotional intelligence, business leadership, talent management and engagement topics. And I built back up the reserves that matter in our lives--friends, family, health, finances, community and quiet. I certified in Myers-Briggs.
