I possess a wide array of experience and skill sets due to my dual careers in Real Estate and as an Assistant Operations Manager (AOM) and Operations Supervisor for the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC). During my 11+ years in the Real Estate Industry, I mastered the art of sales and negotiation through the many transactions I have completed, whether it be purchases, sales, leases and preconstruction deals. Getting the best deals for my clients and their genuine appreciation and friendship post-sale are the most rewarding parts of my job. As an Assistant Operations Manager and Supervisor for the Canadian Federal Government, I supervised the daily operations of the organization, evaluated of operational strategies, recommended improvements and generated reports for management. I developed strategic partnerships with our internal/external stakeholders and reviewed all pertinent site issues with the General Manager. In my previous positions, I’ve worked in Policy Analysis and Business Improvements in order to assist the department goals and increase quality and productivity. Evaluating administrative procedures and policies, recommending and implementing changes for process and financial efficiencies. I thrive in collaborative endeavours and working either independently or in teams in order to get the job done successfully, being time efficient and resourceful. I am always looking to improve my skill sets and learn through continuing education and on-the-job experiences. Outside of work, I have an array of interests including working on issues that affect seniors, improving children’s educational experiences, fundraising endeavours for charitable causes, assisting in feeding and clothing those with food insecurities, continuing to fight for justice for women, people of color and gender.
