Anita joined Equity as a Broker Associate focusing on tenant and landlord representation on medical office buildings and retail properties.Anita is a natural leader with 20 years experience in commercial real estate brokerage, investments, consulting and management. Prior to joining Equity, Anita was a property manager at HCFD where she managed the operations/maintenance of 12 medical office properties in and around Austin, TX. Before that she was Broker/President at AJ Commercial Real Estate, Inc. for 15 years and Senior Associate at Christianson & Company Commercial Real Estate Services where she sold, leased, managed and/or consulted on over 1.5 million square feet of retail, office and industrial space. Anita started in the business working with her father in various roles, ultimately serving as an asset manager for a small portfolio of family owned commercial properties.Anita was awarded CoStar Power Broker in 2013. She’s been actively involved over the years with International Council of Shopping Centers, MN-Dakotas CCIM Chapter (served on Social Committee and the Board of Directors), MN Commercial Area of Realtors, and Minnesota Shopping Center Association (Newsletter, Programs and Legislative Committees). She is a current member of Central Texas Commercial Association of Realtors (CTCAR), Commercial Brokers Association of Austin (CBA), CCIM Institute (current CCIM candidate) as well as the CCIM Central Texas Chapter.Anita enjoys boating, country/swing dance and travel with friends and family.
