As the Founder and CEO of Jobbmotivert, I work with organizations, schools, and individual clients to improve their return on investments, both tangible and intangible, using the 5 Languages of Appreciation.The 5 Languages of Appreciation has been trusted by and implemented at organizations like NASA, U.S. Army, American Red Cross, Literacy for Life, Salvation Army, YMCA, and Microsoft. My work with school children in Helgerød School, Norway has been recognized locally, nationally, and internationally. In just eight months of working with children, teachers and parents in the third and fifth grade, the children expressed an increase in the sense of safety and appreciation at school. Children were also mindful of the needs of their classmates. The children also felt that bullying in school had decreased over this period.As the manager at the Norwegian Government’s Children, Youth and Family Affairs Office, I witnessed the effectiveness of appreciation. The female employee absenteeism in the office was decreased by 50% and violence rate as well as runaway rate among teens was also reduced by 90%. Now, I offer courses for organizations and individuals to help them successfully create an appreciative and therefore a more productive work environment.
