I have been a member of QA expert panels in Latvia, Malta, Lithuania, Ireland, Portugal and Turkey, including as a secretary. I have also contributed with the research on QA to the European QA Forum and the Journal of EHEA.

The national coordinator of the secretariat which supports the work of 11 Sectorial Expert Councils (SECs) involving around 240 experts - representatives of employers, trade unions and state institutions. The SECs are consulted on the development of human resources for the needs of particular sector, and in particular, on the development of vocational education and training in Latvia.

The Register Committee (RC) evaluates and decides upon applications of quality assurance agencies for inclusion on the Register or renewal of registration, substantive change reports and third-party complaints. The Committee is also responsible for adopting Procedures for Applications in consultation with the General Assembly.

I have co-operated with the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) (08.2021.-11.2022), Riga Technical University (RTU) (2022-2023), Knowledge Innovation Centre (2023), Academic Information Centre (AIC) (2021 and previously), Ministry of Education and Science of Latvia, Latvian Information and communications technology association (LIKTA), EPRD Office for Economic Policy and Regional Development Ltd. (EPRD).Areas: future skills needs, skills development of employees, micro-credentials, quality assurance of higher education, development of teaching and learning materials (ICT), performance of education supply in specific sector.

Successfully managed the secretariat and projects of the organisation; represented the organization in various international conferences; contributed to preparing publications, organising events, and the development of the student quality assurance experts’ pool.

Responsible for the management of the financial instruments of the EEA and Norway and implementation of the Swiss financial contribution for higher education in Latvia.
