And people are no different.That’s why I’m on a mission to share my knowledge, experience, and expertise with others to help break the stigma surrounding mental ill-health. My own mental health story - of navigating employment, marriage, motherhood, divorce, menopause, and running a business - alongside anxiety, depression, and agoraphobia has shaped who I am and what I do.My Masters degree in the Psychology & Neuroscience of Mental Health from Kings College, London means I apply the science to help you better understand the rollercoaster of life. I approach the subject of mental health with my head and my heart - to create safe, inclusive, and fun environments for what can be a difficult subject. Having supported countless organisations to develop and implement mental health strategies, trained over 10,000 people in mental health awareness and suicide prevention, along with my own lived experience of mental ill-health and its impact on my career, I can safely say there’s no one-size-fits-all approach when it comes to mental health training!Whether I’m training line managers in large corporate organisations, speaking to founders of small businesses, running workshops for construction apprentices, or helping teachers and parents to support their young people through adolescent challenges, I recognise that every person is individual in their experiences, attitudes, and understanding of mental health.Tick-box compliance style training just doesn’t cut it if you want to drive change.
