An internship at Deloitte Ísland during my last semester at Reykjavík University. Department: Clients and IndustriesI worked on multiple projects that were assigned to me personally in the beginning of the internship. Those projects I worked on independently. Within these projects were two major projects. One of them was to create digital content for Deloitte Ísland for the 2018 UTmessan, which is one of the largest IT events in Iceland. At the event, different companies are all assigned different booths which they can then set up how they want. At Deloitte´s booth there were two small screens and one big screen, which were to be used to attract both current clients and also possible new clients. Creating the content for those screens was my assignment and therefore being responsible for the content to be attractive enough to get people´s attentions. This was both a fun but also a very challenging project, which I am honoured they trusted me with.The second one was in relation to the World Class project, which every branch within the Deloitte all around the world, work together in having a positive impact on 50 million people. How each and every brand within the company approached this big goal and implemented it, is put into a report that is sent to the Deloitte HQ once a year. That report was my second project. At the end of my internship, and within a very tight timeframe, I also began crafting a marketing plan for Robotics within Deloitte Ísland, which is a automation equipment that Deloitte offers. The emphasis there was on social media. As well as having these projects, I also worked as the right hand to the Project Manager of the department. That gave me a incredible valuable experience, working in an environment where everything is happening extremely fast and you have to be able to make quick decisions and juggle multiple things at ones. Therefore, having the ability to prioritize appropriately was extremely important.

A summer job both years at Iceland´s largest company, Icelandair Group. Working in the Passenger Service IGS both years.This job gave me a lot of cross national experience, dealing with different customers every day from all corners of the world. A vital experience in my opinion as today we are more connected than ever with people from all over the world. Therefore cross national communication has become almost a necessity in todays every day working environment. This job also required a lot of service orientation as you met different challenges everyday in an extremely fast paced working environment.
