Hi, my name is Anita :-)I graduated from the University of Toronto with an Honours Bachelor of Arts in English and Media Studies, where I received multiple scholarships for my academic achievements. I developed my communication and analytical skills through my involvement as a Communications Coordinator for the Creative Expression and Society Student Union, and a work-study for the Department of Psychiatry. I increased the social media following of the student union by 100%, and created weekly content for the Psychiatry Department's 1,000+ person faculty. I am currently pursuing a certificate in Marketing Management at Humber College to further enhance my business skills!I have always been passionate about the arts, especially music. I have been developing my professional repertoire in the music industry through various roles and projects. I worked as an A&R and Production Assistant for School Night Toronto, where I assisted in talent scouting, organizing, and managing the monthly shows. I also interned as a Label Coordinator for ArtHaus Music, a music label, artist management, and community collective, where I completed grants and reports, managed administrative tasks, and assisted in content creation for artist releases. In my volunteering, I was a music journalist for Sparky, a digital magazine, where I wrote articles and reviews about established and emerging artists. Through Humber’s Marketing Management program, I discovered a passion for data-driven strategies and marketing analytics. As such, I am currently pursuing self-motivated studies in Power BI, GA4, SQL, and SEO. My goal is to move forward into a career that merges my practical skills in marketing and data analytics with my passion for the creative industry. I am now in a B2B Marketing internship with Universe/Ticketmaster, and I can't wait to apply my knowledge and learn something new :-)
