In 2011 I began my Real Estate career with my mentor and business partner, Diana Weisser (with over 25 years of REALTOR® experience). Together, we formed Weisser & Moon Group with the goal to commit ourselves to offering our clients the highest level of customer service, bringing integrity and passion to helping each client buy or sell their homes. On May 2017 Diana Weisser lost her courageous battle to cancer. In Diana’s honor and memory I continued the Weisser & Moon Group legacy of expertise, wisdom, and deep sense of caring for each of our client’s needs. My goal is to continue building the business by marketing and developing my client base to help the diverse platform of clients and referrals to the Rio Grande Valley and South Padre Island market. I believe that the advantages of RE/MAX, being in over 98 countries, focusing on referrals, education, and online platforms will allow my continually learn and expand my business along with maintaining relationships with my clients. I am a double-major graduate in Spanish and Latin American Area Studies from Texas Tech University, Class of 1990. I then moved to the McAllen area and began my professional career as a Sales Director for the Holiday Inn Airport. My fluency in Spanish allowed me to communicate well with the market in Mexico in the South Texas region for four years. My customer service background was then incorporated in the political field as the Fundraising Director for Texas State Senator, Carlos F. Truan, for five years. I then focused on my family, raised two children, and worked in my husband’s law firm as the Office Manager; overseeing the client’s needs, translating to Spanish speaking clients in the office and the courtroom for the next 15 years. - Anita Moon, REALTOR®
