Oversaw the research and opening of of 12 new markets overseeing a launch team of 4. Markets opened with a niche product; For Rent.com The Magazine. Responsible for operations, recruiting and hiring, and revenue growth. Each of the 12 markets were staffed with one person. The support team consisted of two administrative assistance and a distribution manager.

Provided sales training and support, traveled to each market to work directly with AE's.

I was promoted to Publisher of the Tampa Apartment Guide in Nov. 2001. While Publisher the Apartment Guide billing grew to over $536,000 per month. The staff consisted of 7 Account Executives, 1 Office Manager 2 admin, and 1 market artist. This was the 5th largest book in the country.

The Director of Marketing (DOM) for AIMCO involved overseeing the marketing and training of 52 properties with over 300 employees from Savanna GA to Sarasota Florida. I worked with a counter part and we were responsible for overseeing all media, outreach and preferred employer marketing for each property. This included meeting with all related vendors visiting each property to ensure company marketing programs were in place and to see to the general curb appeal of the site. This included meeting with all related vendors visiting each property to ensure company marketing programs were in place and to see to the general curb appeal of the site. The training responsibilities included new hire orientation, leasing training, Fair Housing, compliance training and leadership training. The Tampa Region created a Train the Trainer program that was adopted in the Southeast Region as well as developed a training/marketing program for our Maintenance Team. As a DOM I worked with individual communities that were at risk of falling below performance benchmarks.
