Anita Staver serves as President and General Counsel of Liberty Counsel, a nonprofit organization which she co-founded in 1989. Liberty Counsel is dedicated to advancing religious freedom, the sanctity of human life and the family. Anita serves as a director and General Counsel of the public policy organization, Liberty Counsel Action.Anita Staver graduated with distinction from the University of Kentucky with a B.A. in Psychology in 1986. In 1992, she received a Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. She studied at the International Institute of Human Rights in Strasbourg, France. Anita was valedictorian of her law school class when she graduated summa cum laude from Barry University School of Law in 2002. Anita was commissioned a Kentucky Colonel and an Honorary Commissioner of Agriculture by the Governor of Kentucky.
