I am a proud graduate of Spelman College where I obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy. At Spelman, I approached philosophy from a unique perspective, with a focus on ethics, the social/political climate and Black feminism. Because of this distinctive approach to the discipline, I have the skills to analyze and critique theories, challenge others to think bigger, and act as a voice for the voiceless. As I shifted my career goals toward business, marketing, and communications, I was compelled to join the inaugural class of the Emory Goizueta Business School Master's in Management Program. This program aims to give students with liberal arts backgrounds the foundation of business knowledge that sets us up for success. Through courses such as Financial Reporting and Analysis, Marketing Management, Leading People and Organizations etc., I am combining the passions and perspectives from my Philosophy degree with business tools. In the Spring, I plan to specialize in Marketing and expand my knowledge in Marketing Research, Digital Media for Marketing and the use of Al. My goal is to expand my knowledge in this concentrated area to ensure that there is representation in the businesses consumers are loyal to.
