Previously Held positions and accomplishments; As CTO Telemedia in RCOM: I was responsible for Planning and Delivery of Enterprise Services including retail Broadband services.Registered 40% growth year on year in the Enterprise segment.Pioneered the Ethernet Network in the Industry in India. The Enterprise success story could eventually take RCOM to generate over 30 Billion INR (500 Mn USD) revenue annually.Served in various capacities in The Department of Telecom, Govt. of India and BSNL.;As Deputy Director General (BB), I was responsible to role out 6 million capacity Broadband NW across the country heralding the start of BB revolution.

Operational Planning and Network administration besides serving as Network Board member formed part of the activities.• While serving as one of the Network Management Board Members in the Network Business group, the following core activities comprised my responsibilities in RCOM . OPEX budget of over Rs 4000 Cr per annum was operated by the NW management board. • By business proposition the Wireless NW formed the major deployment consisting of both CDMA/EVDO and GSM technologies with 3G in 13 Circles including Mumbai and Delhi. The Network in itself consisted of Core Switch, Transport, MPLS Data, MEN and Wireless and Wire line Access Platforms. The access included Optical Tx, MW, MEN, WiMAX, DLC, Other forms of Radios such as UBRs to cater to multiple services ranging from POTs, Broadband, High Speed Internet, Ethernet Bandwidth, Mobile including 3G back hauls besides scores of VASs.Some of the accomplishments included ;• Innovative Energy Modeling to conserve power and fuel for BTS utilities resulting in huge Opex savings. Few methods implemented were industry first especially in power cycling for BTS sites.• Finalization of SOW for Managed Services Operations of the entire NW for all its complexities and variations.• Savings of over 10% in Opex for the FY 10-11 through various optimization measures ( Opex budget was ~ Rs 4000 Cr)• Facilitating the launch of 3G services In Dec 2011 ahead of competition through centralized provisioning and project management. • Optimization of over 25% manpower through number of automation measures. -
