Having help with light home help to take away the pressure of doing it alone, maybe someone to play a game or do a puzzle with or chatting about life, memories or current affairs over a lovely warm cuppa tea or coffee. Life is always nicer when its shared. We will be that person that will support you, your loved one or your friend.

New start up: I am vey excited to announce a new service for companionship, A Befriending and Support Service aimed to eliminate feelings of isolation and loneliness. Launching 1st of May 2024. Making a positive difference in peoples lives.I myself have worked as a companion for the past year and have seen the amazing difference it makes to my clients wellbeing. Just seeing her smile when we go out and about or when we manage to fix a technical issue. She has taught me to play canasta and I her a dice game. The competition is fierce and fun. The change of seasons has brought on the need for different clothing, so I helped her swap and tidy her wardrobe. These are just a few of the things we do together. In general these are things she enjoys, likes a helping hand with and fills her day with happiness. Have a family member that is feeling isolated, alone or simply would enjoy regular company? We are there to support and serve.What can I expect from a companion?If its light home help, a cuppa and chat, walks in the park, museums or fairs, help with online and real life shopping. Love playing a game, crosswords or puzzles? Your companion can be the perfect opponent and supporter. We create relationships, friendships and are there for your needs and wants.What we don't offer?We are not offering personal or medical careAll staff will be enhanced DBS checked and will have received training in supplying quality service, spreading positivity and using their initiative to look for fun things to do, tailored to your interests, abilities and availabilities if you so wish.How much is it?Our hourly rate is £28 that is currently without VAT as we are only just starting out.
