My areas of focus included:- Atlassian product implementation: serving as project manager for Tempus's adoption of Atlassian products. I am responsible for identifying and prioritizing Tempus's needs, translating them to Atlassian product capabilities, and facilitating the implementation.- Process: analyzing business processes, identifying improvement opportunities, and facilitating process improvement initiatives.- Documentation: identifying processes to be documented and drafting needed documentation such as process maps, business procedures, and Firmwide Policies.

My primary role as an internal consultant is to lead process improvement and operational excellence initiatives in check and cash processing areas of the firm. My primary focus is using Lean concepts to eliminate waste, simplify and automate processes, and enhance customer experience. Additional responsibilities include identifying and implementing improvement opportunities within my consulting group. Responsibilities include:- Implementing use of process maps, including training employees using change management, and evaluating and enhancing existing processes- Lead initiatives to evaluate managerial roles and responsibilities; provided recommendations for standardization of practices and separation of duties for various management levels- Conducted end to end assessments of value streams, including time studies, to identify and reduce waste. Provided recommendations to: - Reduce call volume and increase SLA meets in call center environment - Consolidate operations across the firm to increase vendor oversight and streamline customer interaction

- Analyzed printer capacity and utilization- Identified lean quick hits on production floor such as tracking equipment use- Performed time studies to identify and eliminate causes of non-value added time- Created SharePoint Pages and Lists- Implemented 5S projects - Made warehouse stocking recommendations based on inventory analysis- Created Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and performed SOP audits- Aided the risk team in closing out RCSA's

- Collaborated with biomedical engineering students and a business student to develop a simple, efficient, and affordable circulating tumor cell enrichment kit that could improve early detection of cancer- Utilized the principles of filtration, immunostaining, PDMS soft lithography, and antigen-antibody interaction- Designed experiments; wrote protocols and standard operating procedures; analyzed and presented test results- Developed a method of analyte removal to reduce sample loss
