About Anja Hren

I have more than 25 years of experience in both media and marketing industry. My business career has always meandered between editorial/journalistic work and content & brand marketing and communications. I started my career as a journalist in an educational program on National TV Station. I trained my communication skills by leading the PR and marketing communication department in both the most beautiful and difficult times of Delo Revije magazine publishing house and the abolition of TV3. I headed the marketing department at the Slovenian branch of the Swiss company Fashion Days and edited the magazine MMkreativ. I proved my organizational and leadership skills as the president of the International festival of creative communications Magdalena for several years and the organizer of creative evenings Pecha Kucha Nights. I also have three years of experience of working abroad. In the UK, I worked as a brand manager and then went on my own entrepreneur journey and started importing Slovenian wine to the British market. After returning home to Slovenia, I started my own communication and PR business. Now I am working with some exciting clients both from Slovenia and abroad helping them as a content marketing strategist, PR and localization manager and social media consultant.
