The synergy between my technical bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering and my master’s degree in environmental planning, provides me with a profound understanding of environmental and sustainability issues and how both society and private companies can deal with them. In my master’s degree I specialized in the subjects of: corporate social responsibility, environmental product policies, life cycle assessments and life cycle management. Since 2012, I have been employed at Aalborg University. First as a research assistant working at the EU Life Project Green21, and since February 2013, I have been enrolled as a PhD fellow working with circular economy and resource efficiency.

During the internship, I developed a Life Cycle Assessment documenting the effect of digestibility improving enzymes' potential to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in broiler production. The study was accepted at the Life Cycle Assessment Food conference 2012, and in 2014, the results will be published in the Journal of Cleaner Production.
