I represent the program in my community and support both host families and au pairs during their year together. As an LCC, I provide year-round support, screen and interview host families, oversee U.S. Department of State compliance and market to new families in my community.1. Provide year-round supportI am the primary source of support for my host families and au pairs during their year together. Provide year-round support by:* Contacting new au pairs within 48 hours of their arrival and conducting an in-home orientation within two weeks* Hosting monthly au pair meetings* Contacting host families once per month* Fielding questions and inquiries in their region* Conducting a mediation if needed2. Screen and interview host familiesJust as au pair candidates must be carefully screened before they are accepted onto our program, host families must also be screened and interviewed. As a local childcare consultant, I am responsible for conducting an interview in the host family's home and check their personal and professional references.3. Oversee U.S. Department of State complianceCultural Care Au Pair is designated by the U.S. Department of State as one of 13 authorized au pair program sponsors.. As an LCC, I am responsible for acting in accordance with U.S. Department of State regulations and helping my host families and au pairs to do the same. I maintain documentation of my fulfilled compliance responsibilities throughout the year. 4. Market to new famlies and au pairs. I market in my community and beyond using grassroots efforts and networking skills.* Initiate grassroots marketing efforts* Generate “word of mouth” referrals* Network through local events* Follow up with parents who inquire about the program

• Continuous customer relationship management (four two year courses/sections with approx.. 30 Students per section• Business development activities such as first client contact through telephone protocol, presentation of content of the Executive Program at job and industrial fairs. Support during the candidate selection process and contract finalization • Planning and execution of marketing activities, in particular formulation of advertisements, mailings and trade show presentations• Relationship management with host facilities of courses (conference centers and hotels) and service providers for marketing activities • Preparation, monitoring and controlling of cost centers, preparation of accounting sheets and general accounting duties• Monitoring of the continuous improvement process and regular evaluation of the modules of the program• Support for students and tutors during modules. Ad hoc planning and execution of extra curricular events (e.g. excursions; museum visits)
