I have been able to develop creative learning plans and online courses for basic & advanced BSN courses including theory and laboratory. Being an advocate and creating a supportive learning environment for students in clinical settings has helped many students achieve higher abilities than they have considered possible. By helping focusing on their strengths and facing their challenges, I have created a growth environment for students. It is exciting to be creative in exploring teaching and learning modalities and create clarity in material that is being communicated. Being able to show how we are entwined with our local decisions around food, water and food production as they relate to our physical and emotional well being is an underlying interest in my work.
