Evaluated the COMSOL Multiphysics 4.0a finite element software. The engineering department had not previously used the software and needed to confirm how effective it would be to aid the design of security devices. Developed CAD models of several of the company’s components and compared the results with the manual calculations. Delivered report and presentation to highlight the component types most compatible for use with the software.

Performed calculations to accurately assess extent of loading and reviewed related graphs and drawings.
