As a top ten finalist for Female Undergraduate of the Year 2020, I was awarded an internship with Rolls-Royce.I worked on several projects in the Structural Systems Design team within Future Programmes Engineering (Civil Aerospace). During the ten weeks, I worked on five main projects ranging from novel materials rotordynamics studies, project management tasks and a group project about engine cost reduction. It was a steep learning curve to use technical tools like Nastran and understand the structural behaviour of an engine.

I initiated a public speaking club; independently leading fifty students to write and perform their own talks. To do this, I made a connection between my school and the TED organisation in an online video conference. I taught fellow students key skills including public speaking, presentation skills and video editing.
