Providing internal support for data retrieval and training of staff on how to navigate through MIDAS -TUHS online incidence reporting system-Analyzing, measuring and detecting trends on data generated from systems utilized within the department and preparing trended reports/presentations for committees and regulatory surveys; calculation of numerical data -Identifying and compiling data from multiple sources to produce and distribute comprehensive reports to support Risk Reduction and Patient Safety initiatives. -Designing visual aids to present information for professional communication at committee meetings, educational seminars and other patient safety affairs (including charts, graphs, slide and poster presentations) through the Risk Management department-Serving as patient relations personnel to attend to patient, family, and/or visitor complaints, grievances, praise regarding Jeanes hospital patient care practices; referring out issues to respective departments and documentation and maintenance of issues in MIDAS system. -Organizing Life Safety rounds and creating a Safety Management report on a quarterly basis based on the findings of this internal survey for our Environment of care committee-Identifying, recommending and implementing creative approaches to Risk Management data collection, management, formatting and reporting.
