- MIDAS Adverse event reporting system proficient- Utilized MIDAS system to generate reports and data to help develop solutions to safety issues identified- Provided training and presentations throughout the Montefiore Health system

Providing internal support for data retrieval and training of staff on how to navigate through MIDAS -TUHS online incidence reporting system-Analyzing, measuring and detecting trends on data generated from systems utilized within the department and preparing trended reports/presentations for committees and regulatory surveys; calculation of numerical data.

- Creating organizational maps for all types of Insurance companies (ex: Health Insurance etc.)- Creating Risk Matrices for key functional activities (Billing, collections, Premium, Underwriting etc.) - Attending Insurance and Financial examination trainings/workshops- Expanding knowledge base in Legal and Compliance Measures related to Financial.

-Working with Risk Management, Risk Financing, Legal Counsel and Clinical Risk Management Departments-Expanding knowledge base in Claims Management, Online Incidence Reporting, Patient Safety Protocol, Legal and Compliance Measures-Educated on continual Patient Safety Literature -Assisting on Risk Mitigation Projects-Attending Clinical Risk Management.

-Hands-on experience/research based on the Universal Healthcare system within Costa Rica -Visited Costa Rican communities of various Socio-economic backgrounds and analyzed some of the prevalent diseases/ailments associated to some of these regions-Worked with a healthcare team of professionals to determine varied environmental & occupational hazards.

-Provide assistance with maintaining patients’ records for Dermatology, Rheumatology, General Internal Medicine and Geriatrics departments -Aid medical clerks with pharmacy prescription requests -Some knowledge of IDX computer systems to obtain patient information - Billing and charge entry
