As a member of the Sports AI team, evaluated video analytics data of various sports to create more accurate player detection models which were used by clients including the NBA, NFL, and MLB to predict their player success for recruitment efforts. Additionally, contributed to daily meetings between marketing directors, software engineers, and researchers with updates on the progress of the project to better map the necessary next steps of development.On another project, NJSPD-Tips, researched User Experience Design for the creation of a website and Citizen-type app for the New Jersey State Police Department (NJSPD) better receive tips about and record the locations of major crimes throughout the state. In the final weeks, helped lead a presentation for the marketing team of the NJSPD project on what aspects were effective and what needed improvement before the final pitch to clients.As one of the company’s first high school interns, collaborated regularly with the HR executive team to assist in their efforts to achieve greater diversity in their internship recruitment practices.

Elected by the head of the Computer Science department to TA alongside two parents who worked in fields using R programming. Guided and assisted students through the basics of R to master core concepts needed for their projects.

Worked as a teaching assistant in the BridgeUp:STEM Brown Scholars Bootcamp for the past two summers. In this position, helped students who were new to programming understand core concepts and learn to problem solve when they reached obstacles.

Worked in a small group to analyze various Sloth species' habitat data and created a machine learning model using 19 environmental variables to predict the effects of climate change on those habitats in the years 2050 and 2070. The research was ultimately presented at the NY Science Consortium, an R-Ladies Conference, and the NYTech Meet-Up.

In a mentorship with a Ph.D. fellow at MIT, adapted the idea of using 3D shapes to better explain 2D shapes from the book Flatland by Edwin Abbott Abbott and developed a VR math tool that students in the Girls’ Angle math program could use to understand the geometric concepts in an interactive manner. Designed and coded the tool in Unreal Engine 4 in a team of four high school students, and led research on 4D analog shapes for the organization to use in a future extension of the project.
